The film ends with Ram defeating Ajay Devgn's arch nemesis, Singh (Ashish Chowdhry). With "Mirchi", fellow Bollywood actor Salman Khan entered the action film genre for the first time. The music of Mirchi was composed by Bappi Lahiri while lyrics were penned by Sameer. The song "Kya Haseen Main Waale" is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Mithoon and Manj Musik while "Kaise Hai Tu" is sung by Yash Tonk. The song "Swag Se Swagat" is sung by Uttara on Mirchi soundtrack album which was composed by Gurmeet Sachdev. The movie gained positive response from the critics.
