Aagaya Hero is a Telugu film directed by V.V. Vinayak and produced by S. Ramesh Babu and C.Vishnuvardhan Reddy on Geetha Arts banner while Ajai Raj had composed the music for the film and had marked his Telugu debut with this film as composer along with Praveen Lakkaraju as assistant director, it stars Venkatesh, Pranitha Subhash, Nazia Khan & Chaitanya Krishna in lead roles. The film is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster "Aagaya Thamizh", which was directed by N. Linguswamy starring Silambarasan and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. Ravi (Venkatesh) is an unemployed software engineer who always dreams to become rich and marry Lakshmi (Pranitha). He falls in love with Lakshmi but her parents who are having financial problems, do not want to talk about marriage until they are financially stable. Ravi's friends introduce him to alcohol and he becomes an alcoholic, which breaks Lakshmi's heart. One day, Ravi sees Lakshmi again at the airport and he ends up getting drunk. He does not recognize her, but alcoholic Ravi decides to fall in love with her. Meanwhile, Lakshmi's parents ask her to marry another person for their future. He goes out of Lakshmi's house to stop her getting married. But he gets assaulted by the well wishers of the bridegroom and comes near death due to memory loss. When he regains his memory later, he realizes that it was "him" who got beaten up at that time. He goes to Lakshmi's home and decides to get married to her. The film ends with Ravi having a great time with his friends and realizing that he is happy being alone.The music was composed by Ajai Raj. "Aagaya Hero" was released on 30 August 2014 all over Rayalaseema regions of Andhra Pradesh, which was later reported as an overall sales break-even for the producers, S. Ramesh Babu, C. Vishnuvardhan Reddy. The film was expected to be a major commercial success, but the producers had to pay for almost Rs. 72 million worth of losses in the period of 15 days. They also claimed that they had invested an amount of Rs.59 million in marketing, which approximated to 60% of total cost of production. The actor Pranitha Subhash stated during an interview, "The movie is not running well, so it is difficult for us to get mental satisfaction". She also admitted that the film could have been completed by featuring just three songs rather than six songs for maximum impact"."
